Rune Walk Part 3: Raido, Kenaz, and Valkyrie Skeggjöld

Welcome back Nightbirds! On this episode I'm rejoined by Lindsay Starke, David Payne, and Luis Galindo as we talk about the third month of our ongoing rune walk. Here we discuss the runes Raido and Kenaz and our experience spending two weeks of our lives with each of these runes. We talk about some traditional meanings of these runes, as well as our personal interpretations both before and after spending time with them on this walk. We also dive into our experiences with the Valkyrie called Skeggjöld or Axe-Time as we called on, journeyed with, and spoke to her. We talked about keeping the fire going and avoiding burnout, the esoteric meaning of the road in Northern cosmology, and more. This episode also focused heavily on themes of necromancy and time travel/manipulation. We also discuss how to flow with the journey and not second guess ourselves while meditating with these runes and encountering these beings. Where does one person's experience end and the other begin? Our experiences and visions bled together more and more throughout this month, and it's a fascinating discussion as we dig into that.
