Welcome to Movie Time Machine, where this week in the summer of 1998 the world is in danger as a Texas sized asteroid is hurtling toward Earth. NASA has one last hope: send up a crew of roughneck oil drillers and hope Michael Bay edits fast enough to save humanity. The MTM crew straps in for liftoff, as Chad wonders if he is actually rooting for the asteroid, James revisits his fond memories of 1998 summer blockbusters while admitting this one is fun but bad, and Jamie pops into the pod halfway through which feels fitting since he only finished half the movie.
