The goal of the STOP THE BLEED® campaign is to better prepare the public to save lives by raising awareness of basic actions that can stop life threatening bleeding following everyday emergencies and man-made and natural disasters. In this episode, we talk with Dr. Allison Jones about this campaign and learn how we can all be more prepared. Allison is an Assistant Professor in the UAB School of Nursing. She has been a certified Stop the Bleed instructor since 2017 and has an active program of research in this area.
