External roadblocks: iatrogenesis

In this episode I’ll be discussing external roadblocks to healing, which are those roadblocks that come from the world around us, and ones which we may have less control over.

I’m going to start by talking about the subcategory of iatrogenesis, which is by far the most significant external roadblock to healing.

Iatrogenesis is defined as the causation of a disease, a harmful complication, or other ill effect by any medical activity, and it's the third leading cause of death in many countries after heart disease and cancer.

In this episode I will also be sharing some of my own personal experiences with iatrogenesis and my suggestions for how to avoid or minimise it.
