Birdsong & River Flow: A Natural Soundscape

This episode of Fill the Silence was recorded beside a Hertfordshire river in England, while enjoying tea and chocolate cake at a small converted horse-box café.

You’ll hear the soundscape exactly as it unfolded: birdsong on a crisp winter morning, dog walkers stopping for hot drinks, gravel underfoot, planes passing overhead, and the steady rush of a historic weir in the background. Around 25 minutes in, a brief military helicopter passes overhead.
