Dr. Emeran Mayer is a gastroenterologist, lecturer, author, editor, neuroscientist, documentary filmmaker, and professor in the Departments of Medicine, Physiology, and Psychiatry at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Throughout his career – both in his research and clinical practice, Mayer has pursued a Buddhist philosophy of interconnectedness, balance, and compassion.
