While attending art school in California, Ana discovered her passion and skill for sculpting with paper. Using bright colors and highly detailed techniques, she often depicts life in Latino neighborhoods through her sculptures. By referencing her own cultural background (she grew up in L.A. and her parents are from a rural farming town in Mexico), she hopes to show other Latino children that there are living artists making work.
