The morning after the summer opening party, Hotel Sol returns to daylight.

Tiago and Caio have chosen each other, though Bento refuses to let either man hide behind polite greetings and unfinished questions. Before Tiago reaches the lifeguard chair, one loud friend, one public kiss, and one official declaration make the answer clear to everyone at Barraca Sol.

Juan returns to his usual row and closes his eyes beneath the sun. Caio brings him a bottle of water and the answer he came to give. What remains between them is finally spoken, released, and left beside the sunbed.

But the pool is not finished rearranging itself.

Henrique arrives at Hotel Sol with Marcelo and catches Juan’s attention near the outdoor showers. Luna returns to Bento. Camila refuses to let an apology become an excuse. And by the end of the afternoon, two couples leave the pool together.

For Tiago and Caio, the day continues above Rio.

A motorbike ride climbs toward Christ the Redeemer.

Two sandwiches become their first date.

Their hands join on the path.

And beneath the monument, with Guanabara Bay opening below them, the summer finally leads them home.
