The first segment includes a conversation with Claudia, a dementia consultant, trained by Dr. Daniel Nightingale. She explainshow hypnosis & other types of intentional focus processes can be anintegral part of a care plan for those experiencing dementia. Learn ways that vascular dementia can be prevented through healthy living. Then hear about ways to slow progression & evenimprove the quality of life for those with dementia through these practices.Claudia explains how intentional focus practices are extended beyond theindividual to those caretakers & family members who oversee the well beingof the individuals living with dementia. In the Second segment former paramedic Dan Goyette discusseshow hypnosis is used as part of an overall care plan for those recovering fromheart issues & procedures. Dan works not only with cardiac patients, butjust like Claudia, with the caregivers as well. His practice has a strong focuson teaching first responders hypnosis practices to deal with their dailyexperiences in emergency response & trauma care. Dan has his own podcast& hypnosis magazine called The Hypno Café.
