No jurors were selected on the first day of former President Donald Trump’s "hush money" trial. Out of the first batch of 96 prospective jurors who were sworn in and questioned, more than half were excused, many after saying they could not be fair and impartial. Jury selection for the trial of Karen Read begins Tuesday. She is accused of murdering her police officer boyfriend in January of 2022. She has pleaded not guilty. The case has exploded across the Boston area. Her defense team claims someone else killed O'Keefe, and that she is being framed in a coverup conspiracy involving multiple other law enforcement agencies.
