The Herle Burly was created by Air Quotes Media with support from our presenting sponsor TELUS, as well as CN Rail.
Brigitte Legault is our special guest. And if you don’t know who Ms. Legault is, you’re surely going to after this discussion. She is the fearless, mobilizing force and architect of the CAQ, Coalition Avenir Quebec. As its Director General, she organized the party from an idea to a governing behemoth in just over 10 years.
We’ll talk a little bit about her backstory. Her journey from being a former President of the Young Liberals and party activist. Why she became disaffected with the Liberal Party. What led to the creation of the CAQ. What subsequently has happened to the Liberals and PQ in that province, and the CAQ’s role in that. We’ll talk Bill 96, Quebec language laws, and as much as we can cover about what’s happening on the ground in Quebec politically, today.
