This episode's guest is Sophia Thakur. Sophia is an internationally acclaimed poet and speaker who has performed around the world at prestigious places such as Glastonbury, TED and on MTV. Her work is an intimate expression of the experience of growing up in London as a mixed heritage girl and explores themes of heartbreak, joy, fear and ambition. Her first book "Somebody give this heart a pen" comes out in autumn 2019 and encourages young people to look outside themselves and explore their own heart's journey through poetry.
