San Diego State earned a massive win in the third place of the Players Era Festival, taking down #6 Houston in overtime, 73-70. Miles Byrd had a team-high 18 points, Jared Coleman-Jones added a season-high 16 and Las Vegas native Pharoah Compton added a career-high 13 points in the win.
