 In this episode of My Sober Addiction, Clive and Dom are back for another lively chat. With Clive’s deep research and Dom’s quick wit, there is never a dull moment. So, isn’t it nice that, now that we are sober a free from addiction, we can be there for the people in our lives? Usually these are people are the ones who were there for us when we were battling active addiction and support our recovery now that we are living a sober lifestyle. It just feels good to be able to help people when they call rather than making excuses for why we can’t make it. The truth. Is, we couldn’t because addiction had us constantly chasing drugs, but of course we never would admit it at that time.

 We finish up by discussing how important it is to things today that our future selves would thank us for. It started with going through withdrawals and resisting relapse and now it is building a life. It’s not always easy but will your future self thank you for doing it? If so, then do it!
