Our old pal Eliot Glazer returns after half a decade to catch us (really, you, the listener!) up on the last five years. Now, you know Eliot as a writer and actor on Broad City, and a writer on shows like New Girl, Teachers, iCarly, Younger and more, and now Eliot is a PUBLISHED AUTHOR! Eliot's new book The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Gay is out now! Eliot's book - and a lot of what we talk about today - is about how he feels alienated for not fitting in with the (supposed) mainstream gay lifestyle. We talk about how a lot of his issues revolve around how he sees himself in comparison to this gay apotheosis, and how it makes him feel when he actively tries to fit in. We also get into the mental illness of social media, our dislike of being perceived, and of course, we discuss the most famous graduate of the LA clown scene.
