On polling day in Clacton, we follow Nigel Farage and the Reform UK campaign from the first moments of voting through to the early hours of the morning. From hundreds of volunteers turning out to knock on doors and get supporters to the polls, to Nigel casting his vote on the longest ballot paper in British parliamentary history, This episode captures the atmosphere on the ground and we hear directly from voters about why they wanted Nigel back as their MP.
As the polls close, the campaign moves to Farage Fest - a huge election-night festival complete with live coverage of the count, giant screens, food, drink, music, games, glamping and even a Ferris Wheel. We speak to Reform figures and supporters as the night builds towards the result. At around 2am, Nigel takes to the stage to celebrate his victory and reflect on the campaign. We then get the reaction from supporters - before speaking exclusively to Nigel backstage about his historic win.
