This week on Only Child, The Broadway editions continue as Bob the Drag Queen sits down with Oh, Mary!'s most recent Lincoln, John-Andrew Morrison.

They talk about John-Andrew’s 15-year journey with A Strange Loop, from early workshops to his Broadway debut, and what it was like performing the show’s most emotional moments in front of the writer’s family. He opens up about getting sober, nearly giving up his Equity card, and the $14,000 corporate mistake that pushed him to finally choose theater full time.

The two longtime friends also reflect on coming up in New York together, code-switching between worlds, losing parents while performing, and what it really means to “turn it on” as a show person,  no matter what’s happening offstage.
