This podcast is a bit different, so let me know what you think. Today I want to talk about the 5 types of luck and how you can improve your chance at luck in the elk woods. These are based on a book written in 1978 by Dr. James H. Austin wrote Chase, Chance, and Creativity: The Lucky Art of Novelty. It was later brought to the entrepreneur world by Marc Andressen on his blog where he talks The Four Types Kinds of Luck I thought this was applicable and I was so bold as to add a 5 type. 1) Blind Luck 2) Luck in Motion 3) Luck in Preparation 4) Luck Finding You 5) Luck in Consistency I also added a story about the Sleeping 322" bull I killed a couple years ago, and how multiple types of luck came into play in me killing that bull. ... you know, I'd rather be lucky than good.
