Estibaliz Carranza was known as the friendly owner of a neighborhood ice cream shop in Vienna, Austria. She had built a successful business, dreamed of becoming a mother, and gave those around her little reason to believe anything was wrong.
But behind the ordinary routines of everyday life, her relationships were quietly falling apart, and the people closest to her would soon begin disappearing without a trace.
Between 2008 and 2010, Estibaliz murdered her ex husband, and ex boyfriend, before dismembering their bodies with a chainsaw and concealing their remains beneath her ice cream shop.
However, a routine surprise maintenance job uncovered what had been hidden for years, and it exposed one of Austria's most extraordinary murder investigations and earned Carranza the nickname "The Ice Cream Killer."
