In a post-pandemic world, the United States government has created the National Soulmate Database to combat the loneliness epidemic and help citizens find their one true love. When Claire and Bennett are matched, Claire discovers that Bennett abstains from the database and sees a chance to reinvent her colorful history–until the truth catches up with them.
