We’re talking today with Danielle Magen, licensed clinical social worker specializing in eating disorders and co-occurring conditions in adults, adolescents and families. I am a New York based clinical social worker. Danielle is passionate about empowering people in their recovery so that they can move towards actions that align with their values and priorities.
As part of her training, she focused on behavioral interventions, mindfulness, and person-centered approaches that rely on the strengths of the people she works with.
In addition to her Masters from Columbia University, Danielle also holds a law degree and a BA in psychology from Tel Aviv University. Making significant life changes, such as switching careers and moving to a different country, provided her with valuable experience and perspective that she brings to her work as a therapist.
Here’s a fun fact about her: she’s my sister and also an avid baker who loves making delicious baked goods for family and friends
