In the final episode, Eoin sits down with Tánaiste and Minister for Finance Simon Harris to ask what Ireland’s new investment scheme will look like. They discuss why Ireland has never really had a culture of investing, whether tax and complexity have put people off, and how a new scheme could help ordinary savers build more financial security over time. Eoin also puts what he has learned from Professor Robert C. Merton, the UK and Sweden to the Minister, and asks whether Ireland can finally get this right.
