Famed spiritualist Eleanor Rowe has just opened her practice in the new home she purchased for her business. She is also a complete fraud. Tonight's seance is rigged with cheap tricks and practical effects designed to dazzle her wealthy clients.

But when one of those clients begins speaking in a voice that is not his own — and starts invoking the dead by their true names — Eleanor realizes that something has come through. And it knows her.
