Set in a village in Kashmir, Pakistan, "Jhelum" is a short story revolving around the life of 19 year old Shagufta and her missing husband, Muhammed Kareem. It is composed in the Urdu language by the prominent Lakhnavi writer and poet, Vaniya Ahuja.
