Gilgo Beach Horror Grows as Serial Killer Investigation Deepens

Rodney Harrison was the Suffolk County Police Commissioner who was instrumental in building the Gilgo Beach Task Force that identified Rex Heuermann as the murderer of eight women on Long Island over a nearly 20 year period. Heuermann will be formally sentenced on June 17, 2026 to several consecutive life sentences.
