Whether or not you're a mom, I think it's safe to say many of us have an ideal of what makes a "good" or "perfect" mom based on our own experiences with our mom, being a mom and/or observing motherhood in others. In this episode, I sit down with Shayla (@junkdrawermom) to discuss what she calls "Perfect Mom Syndrome," and how she suggests we remedy it. I love this woman, and I believe you all will grow fond of her as well!
Her Bio:
Shayla Caldwell is the creator of JunkDrawerMom, a YouTube channel that focuses on sharing her experiences and challenges with motherhood. She is passionate about inspiring women and moms to be their most authentic self and to be confident in their ability to overcome fear and insecurity, and has coined the phrase “hiding is overrated”.
Most recently, she has been featured in Melanated Gold Homeschool Magazine and the Mommifacted blog. She’s looking forward to the next steps on her journey of parenting and being able to help women do the same nationwide.
