The US and Iran have exchanged strikes for an eighth consecutive day after an Iranian attack on a base in Jordan killed two US soldiers and left another missing. Iran says the United States has attacked an under-construction nuclear power plant while Kuwait says a power generation and water desalination plant has been targeted for a second time in two days.
