The greatest vertical worship that we could ever give is the worship we give to God even out of a wounded place. When we command our wounded hearts to worship in Spirit and in Truth, we exalt not only the Healer of our wounded hearts, but the Creator of all things, including a new heart and soul! King David knew this when he said, “Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!” Psalm 103:1
