Abby Laux, an accomplished art educator and studio artist, has been teaching art since 2006 after graduating from Indiana University. With a Master's degree from Northwestern State University, she has exhibited her paintings in prestigious venues and received awards for her work.
Abby’s art explores a human connection to nature. She feels there is a great need to reinvent a way to coexist with nature in our modern world and mend society’s alienation from nature. Through her landscape oil paintings, she blends representation and expressionism, capturing the awe-inspiring beauty of natural spaces. Inspired by her travels to national parks and international destinations, Abby's art invites viewers to engage with her interpretations and foster a deeper connection with the world around us.
