The trick to do element transitions is to use multiple slides with the same background, or rather a similar enough background that it looks like it’s the same background. In the video, you’ll notice that I’m actually using three variations of the same background.
That’s actually the second trick. I moved objects from the slide layer to the background layer. By doing so, I could add a new object to the slide layer and have that move in.
One other trick that I didn’t mention in this video is to use ProRes 4444 videos with transparency to do more complex transitions. For more information, take a look at this video on motion graphics in ProPresenter.
