I Am The Good Shepherd

September 25, 2022 John 10:11-14 If you were to take a poll and ask a simple question, “Who is Jesus?” you would probably get a multitude of answers. In fact, if you asked a thousand people their opinions about Jesus, you would probably get a thousand responses. In the end, what really matters is not what other people say about Jesus, but what Jesus says about Himself. This is why we are so excited to start our series called “I Am: Jesus in His Own Words.” In this series, we’ll look at seven statements in the Gospel of John where Jesus says, “I am.” We will listen in on several different conversations in which Jesus makes very specific, far-reaching, and even outrageous “I am” statements about himself. Next Step: • Is there something God is calling you to do that you have been resisting? Trust that God knows you and cares for you. Spend time praying this week that you would have the courage to follow God, even when it is difficult or requires sacrifice.
