Brian, Blake, and Richard are joined this week by acclaimed producer Warren Huart for an all-new episode of the Chasing Tone Podcast!
This week the guys are joined by Warren Huart who is an LA based English record producer, engineer, musician, composer, cricket fan, and all round super cool dude. Warren also runs the "Produce like a Pro" YouTube channel which is one of the internet's largest repositories of professional and home studio recording instructional material - and he is also a damn fine guitarist as you will hear.
Warren takes us through his early influences creatively and musically and there is some mention of prog rock. Brian gets to ask about the common mistakes we all make when mixing and Warren gives us a great perspective on the recording process with some insight that you are definitely not going to want to miss - this is an essential episode for home and studio recording geeks!
The guys also look at the future of music production and the ever moving goalposts of music reproduction and distribution. There are some insights into the current scene and how technology has changed the game and also how there are more opportunities than ever in the music industry. Oh. And we DID mention those new pedals we just launched...
Life in the colonies, The secret of eternal youth, Judicious high passing, we announced the Triumph and the Phenom, Genesis talk...it's all in this week's Chasing Tone!
