Kravitz was laid off from The Athletic last month and recently wrote a scathing Substack article about his time at the company. Kravitz goes in-depth on his time at the Athletic telling him he had to generate a large amount of subscriptions while he was recovering from quadruple bypass surgery. He also talks about the reaction he got from his Substack article, the state of sports media, how social media changed the game and much more.
Following Kravitz, Sal Licata from WFAN radio and SNY TV in New York joins Jimmy for their weekly "Traina Thoughts" segment. This week, Jimmy and Sal discuss the myriad issues Sal is having with his new schedule, why each of them is pumped up for the NFL season and the Netflix series, "Quarterback."
