Dr Pete Stebbins on teacher wellbeing and high performing teams in schools

Dr Pete Stebbins has over 20 year's experience as keynote speaker and facilitator. He's a published author of books on leadership, resilience and change, and also a guest psychologist on Australian television's Channel 7. I caught up with Pete to work through some of the key points of the most recent edition of his book, titled "Leading Flourishing Schools, Building HIGH CAPACITY School Culture". It's a title that's filled with promise, and followed up on the very first page with a quote that's, well, quite confronting. Pete's thesis centres around the idea that school culture can have a massive effect on the capacity of staff and students. And, that the odd unicorn encounter can make a life changing difference to any school student.
