Meeting in a fictional Hitler youth science camp in the 1920's, three highly gifted students become close friends before learning that one of them has Jewish ancestry and is expelled from the camp. The three grow up to become scientists whose discoveries affect the outcome of the war as well as the destinies of the biggest superpowers of the 21st century.
