Good Friday Reflection

On Good Friday, the Church falls silent—there is no Mass, no Communion for the faithful. The Passion according to St. John is chanted; the Solemn Collects are prayed for the whole world. The Cross is unveiled and adored: “Behold the wood of the Cross.” Only the priest receives the Presanctified Host. The altar is left bare, the Church departs in silence. This is not defeat—it is the triumph of divine love through suffering.
