As a land grant university, part of Oklahoma State’s mission is to improve the lives of people in the state and around the world. Part of this effort includes the OSU School of Global Studies and Partnerships adopting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals also known as SDG’s, as the framework for global partnerships and key initiatives. The list of sustainability initiatives is long, but includes reducing food waste, helping with food insecurity and recycling. This year, OSU ranked top 10 nationally and top 100 globally for their contributions toward the United Nations SDG’s.
