Wolfgang Gangl, photography as a liberation strike!

Wolfgang Gangl, born in Vasoldsberg near Graz in 1977, is one of the most influential and internationally renowned photographers on the contemporary Austrian photography scene. Fascinated by the magic of photography from an early age, he has developed a distinctive style characterised by clean lines, strong light-dark contrasts and minimalist aesthetics. Gangl's works reflect his admiration for 20th-century fashion and portrait photography and impress with their sophisticated composition, which reflects his passion for geometric forms and the subtle beauty of reduction.
