The journey of the Magi is the primary image of Epiphany. But how many people understand that this is a story of conversion? TS Eliot unpacks this in his immortal poem: "The journey of the Magi" in which he concludes, from the perspective of one of the Magi, "I will be glad for another death." This is what we can celebrate if we want to get the most out of the Epiphany season.
