Jimmys Music Club opened on Willow St. in uptown New Orleans with its first act Lil Queenie and the Percolators. From there it featured live acts such as The Neville Brothers, The Sheiks, Dr. John, James Booker, Professor Longhair, Muddy Waters, Black Flag, Foghat, Greg Allman, Dead Kennedys, and so many more national acts. It was a New Orleans staple in the music scene and an integral part of its culture. Join us as we sit with Jimmy and learn of his life and the club that did it all. Neworleansmusicians.com
