Demons and monsters have been a part of the human psyche for as long as storytelling has existed, but one of the most interesting modern iterations of monsterkind is how they've become part of the games we play, even sympathetic characters we want to be! That's right. This week we're taking a look at Dungeons and Dragons, and comparing the monster lore in the game to two influential pieces of hellish literature, Dante's Inferno and The Lesser Key of Solomon. Professional D&D "homebrewer" Ned Turner sits down for a drink with us as we delve into the depths of devilry and delierium!
Click here for a link to Ned's work in game-making, and here to see the character sheet for the monster we created in the episode.
