The Children‘s Media Conference
TV & Film
The object of this session is to demystify the BBC commissioning process, from the moment of initial engagement with them through the pitching process and into potential development and production of a TV show.
The panel aims to answer oft-asked questions, such as: How do I make an initial approach? What do you want to see? What type of show are you looking for? What does a potential development deal look like? What happens to my IP rights during the process?
Each department will be given its own time to explain its needs and processes, and along the way we’ll hear their stories of best practice and what for their output makes them proud.
