Don't worry I'm not going to turn into a media critic. However, I do think that there are many lessons which we can learn from the movie. The movie was supposedly set in the 1980s, however, we can see many ideas which are relevant for today. We will explore 3 main ideas that I found to be of importance. Mental health, society and culture and the one percent. These ideas obviously flow into and build off of each other. I think officers and the communities can learn something if they choose to view the movie.
