CLR Show 1785. Air Date December 23, 2022. Volodymyr Zelenskyy did what no one since Emmanuel Macron has done: Unite the collective members of the House and Senate meeting in joint session to rise for a dozen or more standing ovations. The reason was the same for both speeches. Members were reminded by an 'outsider' what unifies us as Americans and what, in turn, links us to all of western civilization. It may have lasted for no more than a half hour but, dare we imagine, it was a hopeful sign in an otherwise politically hopeless season. With Friday Co-Host, David Bach.
