Living Your Sparked Second Half
Education:Self-Improvement
EP285: This week’s guest is Annie Leo, the founder of “Paws for Change”, a registered Australian charity who opened Bali's first senior specific safe house for rescue dogs and offers rehabilitation and mobility facilities for special needs dogs.
Annie started this charity as a passion project after her relationship with her long time partner ended, along with her job because she worked for him. Interestingly, a Facebook post she saw kicked off her new purpose in life.
In this episode, Annie and I talk about:
Annie believes that we all have a purpose and something important to give. Dogs are a life-long passion and now her second half purpose but she’s convinced that everyone has some kind of passion that will light their own unique spark. She also believes that if something is bothering you, you should make an effort to change it because no matter how insignificant you think it will be, it will make a difference.
One of her realizations from starting this dog rescue journey at the age of 50 is that everything in her life happened for a reason and added up to her being exactly where she’s meant to be, at the right time it’s meant to be.
“Sometimes you just have to trust the journey.” - Annie Leo
