I have been wanting to chat with Sir Antonio Pappano since the podcast began and he was simply wonderful to interview! I discovered why passing his Grade 5 Piano exam was so important to him, we discuss his work for BBC TV and what that entails and I found out which work "finishes him" after every performance and he thinks that "Götterdämmerung is nothing in comparison"!
