On this episode of The Weekend Take, we are joined by our special guest, Live Sound Engineer and Sound and Re-Recording Mixer for Film and Television, Brian Szepatowski (www.circuitryfilms.com www.circuitrysound.com) as we discuss the big, but disappointing weekend that was at the Box Office.
This weekend saw the Rise (and fall) of Skywalker as "Star Wars Episode IX" failed to meet even the lowest of industry expectations. Elsewhere in the countdown, the other new release of the weekend, "Cats", coughed up a major hairball at the box office, also failing to meet even the lowest of industry expectations, while simultaneously getting destroyed by critics and fans alike on Rotten Tomatoes and CinemaScore.
On the brighter side of the countdown, we will discuss the hopeful box office take of "Bombshell" in it's first week of expansion. All this and more on this episode of The Weekend Take.
