We know that God is good and that He’s holy. But trying to understand how those go together in one God is often puzzling. We wonder, if God were really “good”, wouldn’t He just welcome everyone into heaven? It seems like God’s holiness gets in the way of His love. However, that couldn’t be further from the truth. The God that is revealed by Jesus is a God whose love is demonstrated in His holiness. His desire to make everything right…to keep injustice from continuing is at the core of His holiness and His love.
