Our future workforce requires the skills STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education provides. Women and minorities have historically been underrepresented in these fields. Although schools are working to incorporate STEM curriculum, what can we as parents do to foster an appreciation for STEM in our children's everyday lives and expose them to possible careers?
