This week we return to the Sundance Film Festival to bring you this fascinating conversation with documentarian Irene Taylor Brodsky. Her new film "Moonlight Sonata: Deafness in Three Movements" follows her son as he learns Beethoven's Sonata No. 14 while adjusting to a cochlear implant. The film is a deeply personal exploration of deafness as experienced by Brodsky's son as well as her two parents. Fearless and generous filmmaking at its finest.
"Moonlight Sonata" is now playing in select theaters, but will eventually air on HBO. Be sure to follow the film on Twitter @VermilionFilms, and you can follow the podcast @ITMODCast. You can also follow the hosts @MouthDork & @sidewalksiren.
